TRAVEL TIPS
Best Time to Visit: November to April is ideal, offering pleasant weather and clear waters. The monsoon season (June to September) brings heavy rains and rough seas.
Getting Around: The Andamans are well-connected by ferries and flights. Port Blair is the main hub with regular ferries to other islands. Renting a scooter or car is common for exploring local areas.
Permits: For some areas, like North Sentinel Island, special permits are required, but generally, tourism is restricted to specific islands.
Health and Safety: Use bottled water and be cautious with street food. Bring necessary medications and sun protection. Medical facilities are basic in remote areas.
