Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation made 45 days prior or before departure: Advance amount will be charged.
  • Cancellation made 30 days prior or before departure: 35% of package price will be charged.
  • Cancellation made within 30-15 days to departure: 50% of package price will be charged.
  • Cancellation made within 15 days to Departure: 100% of package price will be charged.

Flights

  • Cancellation of flights marked as “Non-Refundable” on the final travel vouchers: Zero refund.
  • Cancellation of flights marked as “Refundable”: Refund as per the details mentioned in the Cancellation Policy section of the product and final itinerary.
  • Refunds for flights may vary due to international exchange rates.
  • whitesandtrip is not responsible for grounded/cancelled/delayed flights. Refund requests for these flights must be placed with the respective airlines.
  • The onus is on the customer to ensure that his/her passport has a minimum of 1-year validity and is in good condition.  whitesandtrip is not liable to refund a customer who is not allowed to board the flight because of invalid passports (validity expired, damaged passports).

  • Customers must ensure their passport validity and condition. whitesandtrip is not liable for refunds due to invalid passports.
  • Customers must arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to boarding time. whitesandtrip is not responsible for missed flights.
  • Airport transfers planned by whitesandtrip do not guarantee flight cancellations due to delays.
  • Baggage limitations and additional costs for breached limits are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Some flight carriers require web check-in; failure to comply may result in additional costs.
  •  Whitesandtrip will set meal preferences for customers with airline carriers upon request. However, whitesandtrip has no control over the availability and quality of meals served on the flight. This will be controlled completely by the airline carrier.

Hotels

  • Cancellation of hotels marked as “Non-Refundable” on the final travel vouchers: Zero refund.
  • Cancellation of hotels marked as “Refundable”: Refunds as per the Cancellation Policy section and final itinerary.
  • Refunds for hotels may vary due to international exchange rates.
  • whitesandtrip is not responsible for factors such as hotel staff behavior or room quality.
  • Additional costs for room upgrades and amenities are borne by the customer.
  • Cancelling and rebooking hotels will entail a 100% cancellation fee.
  •  Entertaining early check-in or late check-out requests is solely based on the discretion of the hotel. whitesandtrip will not be able to process cancellation requests owing to non-availability of these requests.

Visa & Insurance

  • whitesandtrip acts as a facilitator for processing Visa applications. We will guide customers on Visa formalities & Visa documentation for specific destinations.
  • Visa processing is facilitated by whitesandtrip, but approval is at the embassy’s discretion.
  • Visa fees are non-refundable for rejected applications.
  • Insurance fees are subject to a 100% cancellation fee and are non-refundable.

Loss/Damage

  • The company accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to passengers’ belongings.

Miscellaneous

  • The company is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings during the stay or travel.
  • All disputes are subject to Kolkata Jurisdiction.
  • Refunds for air tickets purchased by the company are per airline rules.
  • No refunds for untraveled portions of the tour except under certain circumstances.
  • Company reserves the right to modify rules as necessary.

Tour Package Policy

  • Air ticket refunds, if purchased by the company at the passenger’s request, will follow the airline’s rules.
  • No refunds will be provided for the untraveled portion of the tour due to sickness or any other reason.
  • Full refunds for tour cancellations by the company are only applicable in cases of natural calamities, strikes, or other abnormal situations, where passengers must compensate the company at 10% of the tour price.
  • No refunds will be entertained if passengers fail to arrive at the station/airport before departure, and they may join at the next station/airport at their own expense.
  • Any deposited amount remaining with the company after 6 months from the tour’s commencement date will not be refunded.
  • The company reserves the right to delete, change, or modify the rules as necessary.
